The first graders meet once a week in the computer lab to do all sorts of fun technology projects! Here are some examples…

Kindergarten: The Kindergarten students work in the computer lab with their teachers and Mrs. Yonts every week! We’ve made huge progress! One of our favorite projects was creating a “Name Collage” using Pixie. In order to do this project, students had to learn how to captialize letters (shift), highlight, change font (size, color, style), open, and save a document. It was a lot of work, but the students did well. Here are a few examples:

Here at Lincoln Elementary School, our Library Media Center is welcoming, relevant, and useful for all patrons. In the LMC, students and staff have a variety of opportunities to use and enjoy library and technology resources in order to foster creativity, innovation, and the development of life-long learning skills.
